Now that it close to release I'm starting to have second thought. Red Dead Redemption looked great prior to actually playing it. I felt it was a huge letdown. I'll see hoe the others like it first.

Meh. Doesn't appeal to me. Was gonna get Brink but they didn't have the decency to release a demo so I'll see.

I used to party at Tech Noire. Then that waitress came in and her guys wrecked the place. :nono:

What say the gaming geeks on here? It could definitely have been better and a more complete experience, but as far as the missions go I'm not bored yet... The visuals are astounding, getting the questioning right is challenging and I like the composition and variety of the cases.

Doesn't rank up there with, say, Red Dead, though.

I wonder whether many more developers will go to the trouble with the animation, though... Most games centred around human characters would benefit from it, I reckon.

I've played it all the way through and I can say I definately enjoyed it. Decent length, beautiful atmosphere to the game, strong story and it was nice to play something that was trying to be different. I must admit I don't think it's one with much replay value, aside from perhaps shelving it for long enough that you forget everything about it and then getting it out again.

As for the graphics, I think there's so much emphasis on the importance of good graphics at the minute that more developers probably will use it, though I must admit quite that level of facial detail wouldn't really be required in most games, so it would perhaps be toned down. Maybe only 20HD cameras trained on the actors rather than 32 :D.
