Sorry Tat, I can't help you here, I haven't played it since the first week I got it. Been spending all my time on Disgaea 4 and the Metal Gear HD collection.
Didn't see this post before. I did find the two missing artefacts, but I had to cheat and look online. I was kicking myself in the ass when I saw where they were. I'd been right by them and hadn't noticed them.
I did manage to access every available world, which had frustrated me before. Again, I had to cheat and look online because some of them required you to follow a very specific path, using a certain device and doing certain specific things. Never would have figured them all out on my own. It was a disappointment anyway, since the locked or hidden worlds don't allow you to actually do anything in them.
Another frustration is not being able to actually do anything in the Coliseum. Every time I go there, I hear this voice that tells me I can fight really strong foes later, always later. But there doesn't seem to be any later. Later never comes.

Right now I'm just trying to collect as many monsters as I can and level up the ones I like. I don't know why I'm doing this, since I've already beaten the game. What's the point? And there are ultimate weapons you can get if you have a ridiculous amount of gil, and the right components. But again, at this late stage, what's the point? The only reason I'm still fucking around with the game, I suppose, is that I'm too lazy to learn my way around a new game.

Actually what happens is the game bombards you with long cut scenes at the beginning for a full PITA time, but then it opens up with literally dozens of little missions which involve going down a set path shooting things then another cutscene where someone "poignantly" sacrifices themselves up to the war, every one, so far without fail.

Should have called it Massacre Effect.

It's not bad though, once it gets going.

Picked up FFXIII-2 again after a long break. Got two fragments I was missing. Only one left- have to complete my bestiary for that stupid twat in Academia. Growing tired of that. There's nothing to really do at this point. Figured some battles would open up at the Coliseum, but that hasn't happened. After earning my fragment at the slot machine in Seredipity, everyone there keeps talking about a new addition opening up, and to come back later. But later never seems to arrive. Because I keep going back. But there ain't nuthin.

Just grabbed ultima 7, it's sequel and all the expansions for $6. Nostalgia time. It is still fookin awesome. You can easily ignore the dated clunky graphics :D
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I'm still putzing around with FFXIII-2. I downloaded some enemies to battle in the Coliseum. Lame that this is the only way to fight there, but whatever. Anyway, first two battles were easy. Omega did a lot of damage, but nothing I couldn't heal and continue on from. I even captured him, but unfortunately he's useless as a party member because he's so slow.
And then I fought my sis Lightning and her pal Wotsisface. They were slightly more challenging, but only just slightly.
All the other cocksuckers are too tough to beat. I've tried different strategies without success. I got one of the ultimate weapons (had to find Long Gui like a zillion times for him to drop two Adamantites), figured that's help. But it only made matters worse. The weapon is very strong, but the one I used before increased the ATB recharge rate. So it was close to having Haste all the time. So I ended up switching back to it. I figured the ultimate weapon would be, I dunno, ultimate or something. But no.
Right now I'm spending quite a lot of time leveling up a Sentinal. I'm hoping that might help me beat these tough enemies in the Coliseum that are kicking my ass. Never used a Sentinal in the game until now. No need. Figured I'd give it a try, though.

I also finally got all the fragments by completing my bestiary for that douche in Academia. Had to consult an online guide. I was missing only two creatures, but I never would got them in a million years if I hadn't consulted the guide. Anyhow, the final two fragment skills I unlocked ended up being pretty much worthless :ddpan: Although I did unlock an alternate ending also. Haven't watched it yet. I can't imagine I'm gonna give a shit about it whatever it is. I mean, if we saw Serah's tits, fine. That would be a proper reward. Or a scene with Noel fucking Serah's Moogle, that'd be hilarious.

I've just clocked gears of war 3 :ab: the game and the ending kicks arse to see all the little cunts that tried and sometimes succeeded to kill you pissing emulsion and dying every single one of them is an awesome feeling. :shifty:

Have you guys been keeping track of the Humble Bundles?

They throw together a handful of indie games into a single package and invite you to pay what you want and some of it goes to charity. As long as you spend at least a dollar, they'll give you the Steam keys for all of the games you buy, so you can unlock them on there and download them, but ultimately you also get access to DRM free copies as well.

Because I'm stingy and have no sense of guilt, I spent a dollar (about 65p these days) on the latest bundle and now I have £50 worth of games in the form of Limbo, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Psychonauts, Sword and Sworcery, Lone Survivor, Super Meat Boy and Braid. :cheer:

Indiegames are the awesomest.

I've still to finish this. I got to that tower and got told to go to a previous level to find the shard for it but then I roamed around fighting random crap and looking for it and got bored....again. It's not the best FF game ever, is it.

Playing The Last Story on the Wii. It is fucking awesome. Everything you expect from Hironobu Sakaguchi. Just had to make myself stop playing so I can go to bed

I'll bite - I'm only on PS3 (same handle), and I've been doing a mix of Skyrim, Lego Batman 2, Batman Arkham City, and I need to get back into Battlefield 3. Not as much gaming now, even on vacation - too much housework and internet drama.

I signed up for the WoW Annual Pass last year to get "free" diablo 3, and immediately lost interest (in WoW). Now i'm stuck paying for a subscription until November. And i've already grown tired of Diablo 3, so yeah. Pretty disillusioned with Blizzard at this point.

Right now I'm mostly playing Rock Band (pro drums with an actual e-drum kit), Path of Exile (scratches the itch that D3 should have), and Tiny Village (one of those time wasters that does its damnedest to make you spend money). I only started playing Tiny Village when I got a recruitment letter from TinyCo last month. I'll be starting on Aug 6

I've also dabbled in Magic The Gathering: Online, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Portal 2, Skyrim, and Torchlight over the last few months.
