In Japan, the Osaka accent has the same, often comedic, yokel connotations as a southern American drawl. We're not sure what Welsh players are going to make of Drippy, then, but it's certainly amusing to hear him exclaim "Ruddy Nora!" when he and Oliver are in danger.
I guess they chose the Welsh accent because it sounded most 'yokel' :hehe:

Which is silly, they should have chosen Somerset...

Cripes! I haven't even started the game and I'm left to make a tough choice.

Do I select Japanese as audio language for the authentic Studio Ghibli experience?

Or do I select English for Drippy's awesome Welsh accent.

What to do? What - to - do?

Drat it. I'm going for English.

 He even acts like a Welsh person; bouncing and hopping around, tumbling and generally making a nuisance of himself.

By the way I named my third Familiar (Pokemon style battle monster), a little fairy with a green smurf-like hat, "Pappa". I expect I'll be naming more after Ratz if I find them apt.

This game just has the most in-depth and best in-game journal I've ever seen. I mean.. most of these RPGs do but Ni No's is a thing of beauty. I usually don't bother reading these things but Ni No's has such wonderful presentation and illustration I can't help but read it. It makes me wish I forked out for the Wizard's Edition and had a hard copy of it.

There is so much depth and so much to love in this game if you have a PS3 I urge you to get it. If you don't - fucking rip it and get a PS3 emulator or something.

Ah shit, now I got a choice to make. I have room in my budget this month for Game of Thrones Season 2, or this game
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Just bought it. Better be worth the sixty bucks I just spent.

And yes I paid for it.

I don't steal.

I'm old-fashioned like that.

Just started it. Okay I hate this game already. When does it start to get better? :ddpan:

How "just started it" are you? Did you literally just press "New Game" and say, "I don't like it"?
Did you even get that far? Did the title screen offend you, perhaps?
