Fuck me this shit is scary. I thought I was immune to horror games but I was a gibbering wreck after 5 minutes. It instills a deep sense of paranoia. Even more so than the original resident evil because you can't fight the monsters you just have to run and hide. There aren't that many critters in it but the whole lovecraftian fear of the unknown comes across so well it doesn't need them popping up every couple of minutes. It would probably ruin the game if they did. I'm plucking up courage to have another blast on there now
