Anders Knutas mystery.
The weird thing is that most detective books, and TV series always involve a cascading sequence of murders. I would imagine that most homicide cases in reality involve single events...

Harder to make a good story about that, though.

It's like that British series, Midsummer Murders, set in a small, idyllic English village. By now, the entire village should be depopulated... ;)

:) Yeah, reminds me of "Murder She Wrote". How many people can be murdered in a small town centred around a random old lady, before they just nuke the town from orbit and start over? :hehe:

I would never shake hands with Jessica Fletcher. If she knows you, you will be murdered.

I should not read musteries for a while. There are 2 candidates for the rapist pedophile. And they want to arrest the one that left town. But theres 12% of book left!

The killer is going to be the detective's best friend. A happily married man. I'll let you know if I had it right.

Yup. At 94% the clue from a page at 50% reappears. It's the best friend.

And finally at 97% the killer blows up a sauna committing suicide in the flames.

No, not a Finnish book, Swedish.

Next book is a dollar item from the book fair about sea life and ecology of Chesapeake bay.

There's an average of 4 murders an episode in Midsomer Murders, I read somewhere. That's more than Helmand province.

You'd think they'd sack the Chief Inspector, he's hopeless at preventative policing...

I find books quite anachronistic :dq:
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
