I lived one hour outside of Toronto for most of my life. From there anyone outside Montreal, Ottawa, and to a much lesser extent, Vancouver, is a hillbilly.

Thought I'd throw this out there, but when I have books I find terribly dull but should read I usually get the audiobook as well. If the reader is good it often adds colour to the otherwise drab wordscape.

Interesting you bring up audiobooks, as last night I was listening to the radio on my way home from work, to part of an excerpt from Pride and Prejudice, read by a woman with a charming British accent .. and thought of this thread ...
