I guess most people here will know the legend of Achilles and his heel (the one bit of him that wasn't invulnerable, but which killed him in the end). The Poet Laureate, Ann Duffy has written the following poem about David Beckam and the terrible (?) news that an injury will stop him playing in the World Cup.
