I loved this as a kid. My parents never seemed to mind me watching it. In fact, I think my dad first showed it to me.

Had an ex girlfriend that was obsessed by it. We went to see the live show and a cinema "outing."
I dressed as Eddie. I just didn't feel comfortable in the basque.
It's fun and in context of when it was released as a film, quite outrageous. (in a good way)
