Jane Austen adaptations (no zombies please)

I just finally got round to watching the BBC adaptation of Sense & Sensibility.. really great adaptation.. and cue much blubbing at the end from me.. :oops:

Anyone else seen it or enjoy these adaptations?

I like Austen just about anything... even the breakfast cereal. :shifty:

Yes, I've seen every adaptation of every Austen book. :sad git smiley:

Do you mean the latest BBC adaptation or the the older one from 1981?

The latest one .. with David Morrissey as Colonel Brandon and Dan Stevens as Edward.

I loved it! I thought the setting was beautiful (almost as beautiful as the Emma Thompson film) and they brought out the characters very well. They were also quite faithful to Austen's dialogue, which is always something I look for in an adaptation as her words can't be improved upon.

...and yes of course I always cry at the end. :cry: :lol:
