A Ghost Story, with Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck. Really quite nice.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Just returned from the new Star Wars film.

It was a movie. I'm told the reviews have been very good.

One of the best movies I've seen this year. A respectful and touching account of the making of The Room.

The Last Jedi. It's very much a Star Wars movie.

It's impossible to describe it. :hehe:

Just seen it. I hated it. But I think that's a lot more to do with how I'm feeling about the world in general at the moment than the film. I think I need to sleep on it and watch it again some other time.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

My problem with Star wars - this one made me realise it - is that I'm not really bothered about what happens next, in particular to the characters. The film is spectacular, well made and actually the characters do have story 'arcs' too. But I just didn't care all that much.

Enjoyable none the less but well short of top notch movie fodder.

Movies are an archaic format.Game of Thrones in 3x3 hour movies?
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
