Everything Everywhere All at Once was fun.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was better than the poor reviews led me to believe. I found it to be perfectly enjoyable light entertainment.

I've got Vesper out from the library, though I haven't been in the mood for much besides sleep and baseball.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse didn't boast anything really new, story-wise. But visually... holy shit

As a lifelong Spider Man fan I think it captured the spirit of the early stories which was wrapped around a pretty nice concept that played with the plethora of subsequent Spider Man origin stories.

Breakthrough technique to bring the "comics in print" into the fabric of the movie.
Dottor n I were quite taken with the movie tho I prefer the Marvel story line over Sony.

Not especially subtle in its message, and some elements of the story were a bit ridiculous. But it was such a gorgeously made film that I didn't really care about any of the faults it might have.

This guy takes an awful lot of abuse but just can't seem to die. Ridiculous but fun.

True story, very Australian....incredible light horseman staging

where is the scene of the action ??? Gaza circa 1917
Never stops does it.....?
Very cool early motorcycle for dispatches
The Lighthorsemen is a 1987 Australian war film about the men of a World War I light horse unit involved in Sinai and Palestine campaign's 1917 Battle of Beersheeba. The film is based on a true story and most of the characters in the film were based on real people.
Enjoyed it tho soppy at times. They spent $175 million on production and it shows in massed attack by the Light Horsemen
Roger Ebert, reflecting other critics' opinions, stated that "I was disoriented almost all the way through the movie." but that in the climax, "I haven't seen a better action scene with horses since "Ben Hur".
The film won an AFI award in 1988 for Best Original Music Score and another for Best Achievement in Sound.[10] It was also nominated for Best Achievement in Cinematography.
That it is a true story helps a lot. Visual production values very good as was the sound. Worth a go.

"I was disoriented almost all the way through the movie."

He should try watching it without being stoned then... :tea:
