Captain Marvel is a woman Tat.

And Steranko was a near genius.
I know she is now. But she never used to be back in the Jim Starlin glory days!
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

You two are great for the complete rubbish you spew out. They are nothing but cartoons but of course some cant see it that way. Bloody crap American cartoons as well.
Us two? How did you manage my opinion concerning American cartoons? Marvel comics are complete rubbish to me too. I have never even seen a single movie based on them, of Superman either, and I grew out of liking Walt Disney products before I grew into my teens.

Thanks, but no, thanks.
1) There's a difference between 'complete rubbish' and 'shit'.
2) I have not read a marvel comic for over 40 years. My opinion may be out of date.
3) Never having watched a single marvel type movie I have not formed an opinion on them.
4) Insufficient care factor.
5)The sun is about to rise. Bedtime soon.

Like Rum, I used to read lots of Marvel comics as a lad, and in fact into my early 20s; I loved them. These days, if I have occasion to read one (they occur as "picture books" each with dozens of comics), I cannot recapture that same pleasure, quite unlike re-reading a good SF novel - they seem trite and juvenile. I've seen one or 2 Marvel movies, with moderate but limited enjoyment, but that is probably because, for me, movies are not something I generally enjoy...

Drove into town today in my excellent, reliable and comfortably luxurious Mondeo today with Mrs Rum to see Avengers: End Game.

I’m a long term fan of the films having read the comics as a kid, but this will take some beating. Three hours of fun, super hero shenanigans and some real drama, plus some real ‘endings’. My favourite Marvel so far. Hard to see how they can top it.

I still think the first Avengers movie is the best.

But End Game was still pretty amazing. If nothing else because they managed to cram all those heroes in without making it feel stuffed.

Can't really talk about this one at all though. Way too many spoilers.

I’ve discovered this. Almost anything you care to discuss about this film ends up being a spoiler.

Iron Cowboy was pretty great. Not for why it might seem.

That was really good. I'm going to have to go back and watch that again.
