I fucking missed it. Everyone I know who watched it said it was the best film EVAR. Doesn't look like it's going to show again till August, damn.

Any movie that ends like this is fucking brilliant.
the hero is swallowed whole by a giant flying shark and has to chainsaw his way out of it's belly, while saving another person who was also swallowed by the shark after falling out of a helicopter
Jumping the shark is chump change after that.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Sounds so utterly insane that despite myself I'm gonna end up watching it.

Sharknado, hilarious.

Holy mother of god.
I loved Megashark vs. Giant Octopus, but this time they've gone too far.

There was absolutely no absurdity in this film left unturned. No cinematic blunder or goof got a free pass. There were continuity errors aplenty. Inconsistent special effects with sharks changing size between shots. Shots used more than once. More clichés than you could shake a stick at. Opening scene which didn't relate to anything. Acting so wooden it should've been deforsetised. Tara Reid as a mom!

The science was awful with 'global warming' blamed on the freak weather. A swimming pool full of sharks blown up by pouring petrol on it and igniting it with matches. Yes, they blew up the actual pool, an outdoor one! They used bombs to stop the tornadoes from a chopper, bombs which I'm pretty sure simply wouldn't work in real life. The reasoning behind it, "Tornadoes are caused when hot air meets cold air. If we throw it [the bomb] into the centre we might even it out." Eh?! Even what out? WTF?! And he continues, "If we miss we're screwed." Whaaaa...?!!

That doesn't mean, of course, there weren't moments of sheer brilliance, if badly executed. Shark gets hit over head with barstool. Cute Jaws reference. Chainsaw burst scene above. Ending the film with Fin.

I believe they are looking for titles for their next epic.

I've come up with...

Hurricanines.

Tsunamice.

and Snakequake.
