Re: District 9?
I keep hearing about this District 9. I suppose I'll have to go watch the trailer to see what all the fuss is about, though I'm not a big Peter Jackson fan. I liked his early stuff. But the Lord of the Rings films bored the shit out of me, and King Kong did nothing for me either. Is this District 9 a more personal project?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Oh. Well. Now I see what all the fuss is about. That actually looks very very cool. The kind of film I'll actually want to go to the theater and see, and not wait for the DVD. Nice

Indeed. I'm intrigued. Reminds me a little of "Alien Nation"

Hrum... looks intriguing I must say.

Intriguing does not mean hopeful.
Personally, I think it'll be trash, but I'd still see it because it's... different.

It's a film with robots that is not directed by Bay or McG. Already it's winning.....born-again-atheist wrote:Intriguing does not mean hopeful.
