Watching season 4 of Game of Thrones
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Have any of you been watching the series Mr. Robot? It's a rather cool and accurate and well researched series about hackers. A breath of fresh air from the usual flashy graphics form of 'hacking' we see in shite like Swordfish.

I just finished episode 7. WTF! I love the layers-within-layers thing it has going on. It reminds me a little of Utopia in that respect - but more "American serious". Love it so far. It's addictive.Animavore wrote:Have any of you been watching the series Mr. Robot? It's a rather cool and accurate and well researched series about hackers. I have been watching a TV series called Bosch, about an L.A. detective, mainly because I've read all the books about him by Michael Connelly. Good stuff.

And season 1 finished. Still WTF! Lot's of obvious homages to cult films - some a little too obvious - but it stands up. A good, tight script and some great performances. Me liked. Me no like waiting for Season 2!Xamonas Chegwé wrote:I just finished episode 7. WTF! I love the layers-within-layers thing it has going on. Yeah, definitely like it, though I think the first two episodes were the best.Animavore wrote:Have any of you been watching the series Mr. Robot? Just finished that one, and was sad it was only one season. Luckily there will be more!JimC wrote:I have been watching a TV series called Bosch, about an L.A. detective, mainly because I've read all the books about him by Michael Connelly. Good stuff.
We're watching season 3 of the killing, and also Vikings. I think when The Killing is over I'd like to finally watch "In the Loop" because the bits I have seen have been pretty great.

Really, really enjoying Dexter. Great characters, brought to life by a fantastic cast of actors. I started to read one of the Dexter books but found the writing style absolutely insufferable. I'll stick with the TV show.

Just about to start Vikings, Season 2. Walking Dead, obviously. Slowly and belatedly working my way through Battle Star Galactica. Will watch TMITHC and Mr. Robot presently. Enjoying Catastrophe and I'm pleased Peep Show is back on, still makes me chortle.

I was watching Brisco County, Jr. but it wasn't as good as I remembered, though Bruce Campbell was still great.
Have The Strain Season One borrowed from the library as well. Guillermo del Toro is involved in that somehow so I thought it might be good. Have not watched is because...
...right now I'm just finishing up the most current season (or series, as the British say apparently) of Peter Capaldi's Doctor Who. Liking it very much. I laughed one during one of the episodes the Doctor kept looking at this girl like she was familiar somehow. Of course she's familiar, silly. She's Arya Stark!
