First episode was great. By the third I was done with it.

Loved the books. Rather meh about the film.

Started watching this and was struck how beautiful the lead is ...then light bulb went off....Stefani Martini...just gorgeous. And a great cast as well.

She was luminous in Prime Suspect 1973 ( highly recommended )

Good reviews for the work. 🍿

Such a pool of talent Brit drama has.

Here is some current info - good move √
Mystery Road
Category: Mystery, Only on Acorn TV, Acorn TV Original
Hails from: Australia

WATCH NOW

Acorn bills Mystery Road as “Australia’s answer to True Detective,” but if anything, the multiple-award-winning series is even closer in spirit to Bosch, as both feature a sharp, stoic detective (Aaron Pedersen) so driven by a sense of moral righteousness that he ends up a lone wolf in a sea of institutional and cultural corruption. It is also shot with a cinematically breathtaking sense of sun-baked noir.

I watched a few episodes of 3 body problem. But after the nano fiber bit I’m probably done, just too many other ways they could’ve created the same conflict for those characters without that nonsense.

Did you miss the "fiction" bit in the genre.
There is a lot more out there in the story than nano-fibre.

I don’t pretend to know about the feasibility of what was done, that’s not my complaint.

Nah, just didn’t like the senselessness of it is all…

Streep is luminous, the music wonderful and I really liked the book it is based on.
