Figured a rewatch was in order given my progression through the books.
Great cast.

Watts is a fine actor and this is a good movie.

Insane photography ...no idea how they pulled some of it off. Just finished the Outback section....learned a bunch.

Enola Holmes 2
Mad fun and do watch the credits.
Loosely based on a true story as well and certainly sets the stage for more.......93% on RT critics.
I thought perhaps a stretch too far but she tied it up neatly.....even the diversity.
Helen Bonham Carter is a hoot......mad woman.

Despite my dislike of the lead for the new season of the Crown.
Really like the rest of the cast. Pryce is fine as Philip. Diana is astonishing look alike but very tall. Charles not a bad choice and catches his gloomy style very well.

our intrepid girl was all teared up as she reached the Arctic Ocean.

wonder what is next :tut:

•••

Finished the six episode The English...got some high praise from reviewers....me too. Not in the class of Dances with Wolves in terms of a cohesive story line but cinematography was superb and some interesting twists plus a more nuanced view than most westerns.
The leads make the effort.

••
Engaged with The Crown Season 5 - learned a lot and astonished at Diana portrayal.
No idea that Dodi produced Chariots of Fire ....I was so impressed when it won Best Picture as I love the film and the music. The opening sequence is one of the best ever.
