The styles of the black mirror episodes are quite diverse. Not liking one won't mean that you also don't like the others. And since each episode stands on its own (they don't share characters, play at different times and in different alternative timelines), you should try multiple to see whether you like them or not.

Past episodes of QI. I do have a thing for Stephen Fry. :)

Oh, I have always liked Sandi, at least since The News Quiz and her appearances on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue (still the funniest goddamn thing ever). Dealing with Susan Calman on TNQ was perfect training for dealing with Alan Davies on QI. :D

Bordertown season 2. See thread. Just finished HOC

VOX article:It was a fantasy about the Clintons being as evil as right-wing media has made them out to be, released into a world where politicians regularly wield their power in a way that causes genuine, real-life harm and even death in the lives of people all over the world.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Over the last weeks I have been watching a lot of these youtube videos where people call phone scammers and waste their time. It is actually very entertaining and also instructive: There seems to be thousands of people doing these scams and there must be a lot of people falling for these scams although they are totally absurd.

Entirely agree. It is really amazing. A bank asking for your bank details? No bells.

A lot of the success of scams relies on older people being afraid of the device they use, phone or laptop. They are even afraid of losing something if they have to restart the laptop.

The worst of it is that they DO have to go on line to apply for things. If they are led to a fake site, they don’t know the difference.

Not Nigerian scams, these people boldly call from the apparent local area code and demand that you pay tax.

Watched episode 7 of season 5 of Game of Thrones last night - the one with Tyene Sand? Holy boner fodder! Easily the hottest woman on the show.

Watching a Netflix sci-fi anthology of animated shorts called Love, Death, and Robots. Quite entertaining.
