I love it. Especially the weird suburbia stuff.

I thought I was going to click on this thread and see that the first post read:

I used to go out with a girl who loved that film.

She always wanted to watch it with me but, I refused point blank. I fuckin' hate chick flicks ("How can you hate chick flicks you never saw one?", you say. "I don't have to stand in shit to know that its shit", comes my reply). Needles to say my selfishness lead her to split up with me. Well, that and the fact I rode her friend's older sister.

It's not a chick flick. It's a modernised retelling of Frankenstein. Very funny in places, sad in others. The DVD sits on my "Fantasy" shelf.
Tim Burton. Need anyone say more?

Its a chick flick. Doesn't matter how you polish it. Tim Burton is over-rated. All his films have the same look about them, the same level of implausibility. Wyonna Ryder is not that hot and Johnny Depp is a one trick pony, a pretty mannequin stuffed with straw. Yes I am that ignorant.
