Oh, and I never said there was a "communist conspiracy to eliminate "black people" in China." I said that China is, and quite literally has always been one of the most rabidly racists cultures on earth, presuming Han racial superiority and barely tolerating it's own non-Han citizens, much less close ethnic groups like the Japanese. This hostility is well known and indisputable and it's no surprise blacks don't care to live there.

Oh, I'm quite sure it's a great book and well written and is an authority on the subject of linguistic drift. That's not the point. The point is that you are trying to misuse it in a fallacious appeal to authority of an authority that isn't an authority on the subject of the debate.

Linguistic drift is not the issue here. Politically-motivated attempts at redefining the words "racist" and "racism" to permit unimpeded derogation of white people by racist minority pundits is the issue, and that is not "drift" by any stretch of the imagination.
