If you're not a Bond fan then you're not a Bond fan. No shame in admitting it.

Re: More good movies we've seen.
Well it was supposed to be good! It had very good reviews and all but I beg to disagree.
Bought The Dark Knight DVD and watched it last night. A shambles, all over the place, a baddy whose 'powers' were just being really nasty, and too much focus on the peripheral characters.
A disappointment.

I left in the middle, or after a thousand years of drivel, somewhere in there. As soon as I figured out who Bane was there was no more reason to watch it.Rum wrote:Well it was supposed to be good! It had very good reviews and all but I beg to disagree.

I didn't spot that 'twist' to be honest, but it underwhelmed me when it came out I must say.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I left in the middle, or after a thousand years of drivel, somewhere in there. Exactly. "Okay, that's sorted. I wonder if I can make it to the store before going home?"Rum wrote:I didn't spot that 'twist' to be honest, but it underwhelmed me when it came out I must say.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I left in the middle, or after a thousand years of drivel, somewhere in there. Wait! Are youse talking about The Dark Knight or The Dark Knight Rises?
I didn't like the former at first but grew to like it.The latter, only it's mother (and a multitude of blind fan bois) could love. I didn't spot the twist either. I didn't even know there was supposed to be a twist. But when it hit I was like - eh?

It sucked badly. Ad unlike the first one, which I liked better the second time I saw it, I watched it with friends last week and thought it sucked worse. There were even more plot holes and inexplicable character actions. The whole prison-hole bit just seemed to be there just to be there. Piss-poor

The "Good Guy Joins Supposedly Good Guy Club Only To Find Out It's Really A Bad Guy Club" thing has been done to death. BEFORE The Dork Knight came out.Animavore wrote:It sucked badly. I just started watching "The Man with the Iron Fist." Tarantino's latest. Will report back, if anybody's interested.

Actually it's not Tarintino, it's made by The Rza, a rapper from The Wu-Tang Clan. Tarintino's name isn't on this film at all.
