1) The Darjeeling Limited. Wes Anderson. Absolutely gorgeous film. Very funny in a restrained sort of way, and touching at times. I really liked this one. I rate it 4 out of 5 sweet limes.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

2) Pan's Labyrinth. Beautiful film. And the rare fantasy film with substance. Guillermo del Toro's masterpiece. I rate it five out of five pieces of chalk.

I would have said, "and two grapes," but the grapes were a mistake

4) The Tick, the complete live action series. Fucking funny as hell. Lots of fun. My rating: five out of five fresh plates of steaming hot justice.

5) Gus van Sant's Elephant. Beautifully shot, like all his films. Slow moving but dreamlike and elegant. Powerful film, if you have the patience for a non-traditional narrative. I give it five out of five self-induced vomits.

It sucked, didn't it? I don't understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews.
