I thought the first episode was well done. I liked the finale too - especially the moral decision part - very daring. I think that episodes 2, 3 and 4 could have been compressed into 2, or even one episode without losing anything major from the story.
All in all though, an enjoyable show. And streets ahead of most TV sci-fi.
