Who changed it?
We have no great war, no great depression.
Our great war is a spiritual war.
Our great depression is our lives.

I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Maybe I should start my own movie thread this year simply titled, It Was Shit

Just watched Frailty, with Matthew McConaughey. Not a must-see, but it kept me going to the end.

Just watched Buried. Who'd've thought a film about a guy trapped in a coffin could be so tense?
This film is literally shot inside the coffin for the whole thing in real time. There is no other locations or scenery. The guy only has a Zippo, a mobile and a couple of glow sticks for a light source. He his held to ransom by Iraqi insurgents. The only other characters are the ones he phones trying to get himself rescued but his phone battery is running out fast and the coffin is filling with sand.
Enjoyable and claustrophobic film, worth a watch

I prefer not to be in confined spaces. I'm quite willing to kill to get out of them.Jynx wrote:Eh?Gawdzilla wrote:That one and "The Jacket" are in my "fuck you" list.Jynx wrote:Just watched Buried. Who'd've thought a film about a guy trapped in a coffin could be so tense?
