Volcanoes of the Deep Sea (Divx webplayer required to view)

Scientist aboard the Deep Sea submersible known as the Alvin explore the deep sea smokers along the Atlantic ridge. They discover life able to exist independent of our Sun, drawing the energy they require from the earths core. Existing in a super heated cauldron that would boil most life as we know it. Narrated by Ed Harris.

I watched it yesterday. Totally awesome.
I run with scissors. It makes me feel dangerous Image

Just watched it then.
Truly fascinating. Filled me with a sense of awe and wonder.

Absolutely loving those creatures. Tough as nails!
And since they didn't seem to react to the light, is it safe to assume all the life forms around the vents are blind?

Big thx for the link
