Did I spook you? I am a very discrete lover - ask anyone - once the ground rules are set out.

Watched 'The Third Man' this years restored version. Absolutely stunning noir effects...same movie except it really is enhanced on the visuals....deep, deep blacks and every shade of grey....excellent processing.

I watched that new Mad Max movie with Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. It was quite good.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I'm really hanging out to see The Revenant(?). Looks brutal!

My dad took my brother and i to see it in 1977. The only time in living memory that we did anything like. In those days you used to get a short with the main feature and Star Wars was paired with this documentary about Hells Angels and their motorbikes. That alone left an impression, for it was then that i first resolved to grow a beard some day - because beards are well cool. Anyhow, i was mentioning this to my dad the other dad when he pipped up and said that he'd like to take my brother and i to see this new one as well. The force must run strong in him, or something. Pethaps the stingy bastard will buy me an ice cream this time...

The first film I ever saw in the cinema was Return of the Jedi. My dad took me and my older brother. I don't have too clear of a memory of it besides crying during the battle on Endor when it showed an Ewok get shot :hehe:

Saw Bridge of Spies a couple of days ago. Solid and workmanlike I would describe it as. And there are two distinct plots (no spoilers..). Worth a wet afternoon's viewing without setting the screen on fire.

Bought two collectors boxed set of Clint Eastwood movies. The Westerns and his other stuff. Keep me amused.
