Hello

Post by MiM » Tue Feb 08, 2011 9:44 pm

Hi,

Guess I should introduce myself, since I got an updated nic. I'm probably not going to hang here actively, I get all the info I need on you just by not shutting my ears from my wife's (Ronja) rants ;)

Welcome MiM,
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

You know, the name of this sub-forum is "Welcomes and introductions" - it might be a good idea to introduce yourself at least a little bit, or else they will have to go on what *I* say about you...
"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. Give things away and take things that are free." - Maureen J

And she sure has said a lot too, so you may want to make sure she said it correctly. ;)

:Erasb: You watched parts of Ayaan and Zilla's wedding - you know perfectly well that such things count here. As Paco (known as The Curious Squid nowadays) so well put it: "This is the wrong forum for bluffing."

Besides, if we had not been friends to begin with, we most likely would not have become a couple. :swoon:

But you only say nice things about him, so it can't be that bad :smoke:

Welcome, MiM/Mr. Ronja. Glad to know you're here. We need more people from the cool countries up north there.

Hello Mr. Ronja!!! Your wife is a wonderful person and we know quite a bit about you!
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life
