Hello from Bangladesh
Hello everyone,
This is Murshid; 28 year old male from Bangladesh. I hope I'll have as great a time here as I have in the Rational Skepticism forum.

Hello there Murshid and welcome to the forum!

Welcome Murshid!
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

Hi and welcome, murshid! Someone will be along shortly to strip you of your cheese. Help yourself to all the bacon you can eat. (Yes, it's an inside joke)

Welcome! Say hi!
How much significance can we put on your location? Are you an atheist?

Hi, Murshy. Funny, I was just at the liquor store yesterday buying beer. This particular store has a very wide selection, and they actually had Bangladeshi beer! I very nearly bought it. Only it was a lager beer, and I don't generally drink lager

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Hello and welcome.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
