Looks like you got everything sorted.
I spend a lot of time in Scotland but I've never been to Fife. We have a few members from other areas of the country.
Welcome and I hope you settle in!

Yes. The avatar seemed to be available after making my 1st post. Either that, or I just couldn't see the option. I made it using the default forum theme as part of the background... which was a mistake, as I've switched themes. I'll sort it out later.
As to Scotland... Fife is quite a new thing to me, too. I'm not an Easty Beasty, I'm a Wiley Argylly.
Well, my family is. Perhaps you're familiar with a wee town on the Clyde called Dunoon? If not, it's no great surprise. It isn't exactly a bustling metropolis that many people have heard of. But to me, Scotland is bumpy and wet (trying his best not to go for sexual innuendo), but the East is more flat and windy.
This is my dug, with the Firth of Clyde behind him (which eventually leads to Glasgow). To the left, you can see the start of the Holy Loch, which is where a large U.S. Navy base was stationed for most of the Cold War. The nearer houses are part of Dunoon/Kirn/Sandbank.
