The Dawk on Radio 4 today
Our Dicky was on Andrew Marr's Start the Week this morning - pretty briefly, but very eloquently with some other people on the subject of rationality. Here's a link for those of you who can access Iplayer.

We'd better have some bootleg files up PDQ or I'm banning everybody east of Newfoundland.

If anyone knows how to copy streaming sound and/or vision and turn it into a file happy to have a go.Gawdzilla wrote:We'd better have some bootleg files up PDQ or I'm banning everybody east of Newfoundland.

If you have a microphone you can copy it as you go. The mic should have come with record software.Rum wrote:If anyone knows how to copy streaming sound and/or vision and turn it into a file happy to have a go.Gawdzilla wrote:We'd better have some bootleg files up PDQ or I'm banning everybody east of Newfoundland.

OK - will delve into it a bit later today if I get a chance. Currently cleaning up the crap after four days of visitors. There's still the remnants of a turkey sitting on a work surface in the kitchen, bedclothes to change, digestion to settle...*sigh*

Re: The Dawk on Radio 4 today
Well I have found and installed, with Zilla's help, a prg which will record streaming sound from the web including Iplayer, so the stuff we keep referring to in the UK can be shared. Only problem now is how. Not sure about posting large MP3s to the forum. Or is that not a problem?

Edit: It is too big! I can split the file - might be easier. I am assuming you can knit it back together if I send it as half a dozen emails?
