Voted. I find the whole process - the pope deciding an event could only happen as it did with the intervention of god so breathtakingly ridiculous I can hardly find the words! How stupid people can be!

Mate i understand what your getting at however in the greater scheme of things people will make up there own mind even if they come to a retarded conclusion. We live in empty consumerist capitalist society of which people get alienated and disillusioned and leads people to believe in all sorts of crap i'm a strong believer in the saying "those who believe in nothing will believe anything".
No farken poll on some crappy evil empire site will change that. What we should be is fighting for reason and science and free thought not spamming some site.

Fair enough, but I think every action has a reaction. Voting on the poll will have a greater-than-zero effect. I don't think we're spamming them, anyway. They want people to vote, so we're voting. I haven't submitted multiple votes or anything. Can't speak for anyone else.
