That's not what atheism is. It's a lack of belief. Not proof of anything.
Yes, I lack the belief that there are no Gods.
So you are an agnostic atheist, assuming you also lack a belief that there are Gods.
I have no proof either way, and I'm not overly concerned about it either.

I'm an agnostic atheist, and even though there is no proof of non-existence of a god or gods, I don't give a flying fuck. If there is a heaven, It's chock full of assholes, and I wouldn't want to go there. Also, if there is a hell, Finns with their sauna experience always end up stoking the boilers.

I did the Sunday school routine in Finland, mainly because us country kids treated it as a chance for gettogethers, because we held meetings at our homes in a rotating basis, and after the lesson there always was coffee and treats. I went to confirmation as well, that was a month at a church owned camp at a nice lake. I took things seriously, I studied hard and memorised the catechism so well that after the final exam the minister pronounced that my results were perfect, even to punctuation. When we came to Canada the following year I started attending the Finnish Pentecostal church, mainly because both of my brothers were members, and it was a place to meet other kids my age. They wanted me to become baptised, but I resisted. I kept going to young peoples' meetings because there was a girl I was sweet on. One Saturday night at a meeting an elder came to speak to us. He said: "It is OK for you to have friends outside the church, but not boyfriends or girlfriends. They will lead you directly to hell". As he said that he glanced at me, making sure I knew what he meant. :demon: That was 1968. That was the last time I attended a church, or hung around with those people.

I am not an atheist. What is that? Something the theists came up with? They wanted to pigeonhole people like me and the baby needed a name. What a load of crap. We are the default and no name is required.

Never believed a word of it, by the time I was old enough to even think about it I knew it was total bollocks.

I did get christened, as Mom had some vague Methodist leanings. And then again when I was maybe 19 or so, on the beach in Daytona. I was drunk and partying with a bus load of Jesus freaks, I got the total immersion baptism experience in an attempt to fuck one of them, but it didn't work.

God sees right through that sort of thing, apparently.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
