Stipulating that all things must have a cause, then asserting the existence of an entity that does not, is wankery of the first order.
You still have not provided scientific proof of such an entity since you started this thread more than four years ago. The chance of you providing such proof any time soon, or any time at all for that matter, is as close to zero as one can get.
What have you proved except that your days are coming to an end ?

Man, have you not read good horror stories? there are authors who can show it is... not that this goes beyond the realm of fiction, of course.

But values are unreal, subjective, and abstract according to science, values which are everyday contradicted by the technological and scientific reality which we live through. Thus appears the one-dimensional man with very little real ethics or morality. His life and function is to adapt to what "just is," I.e., a society of total domination.

and does that apply to the Battle of the Somme, the weapons used then appearing like sticks and stones compared to modern weapons?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:44 amAnd yet science has been a far more productive and life-enhancing endeavour than millennia of tree worship and goat sacrifices. and does that apply to police surveillance and their technological terror which makes the nazis look like idiotic children?
and does that apply to people spending moat of their free time watching Big Brother and the media billionaires in their homes voluntarily?
and does that apply to the 1% of the richest families owning more than 99% of the entire global population combined?

If you read other posts in this forum, you would realise that most of us here have serious political concerns with many aspects of capitalist society, including how its use of technology is detrimental to both people and the environment. You will find many rants against the 1% and their unwarranted influence on human society.superuniverse wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:41 amand does that apply to the Battle of the Somme, the weapons used then appearing like sticks and stones compared to modern weapons?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:44 amAnd yet science has been a far more productive and life-enhancing endeavour than millennia of tree worship and goat sacrifices. But these criticisms come from a humanist and political perspective. Religion of any sort is not somehow a requirement to be able to deliver trenchant criticism of unethical behaviour. And although scientific developments may indeed be used unwisely as destructive technology, science as a method of systematically exploring how the universe works is not in itself a problem. Clearly, it alone is not a basis for solving problems of human society - strong ethical frameworks based on the intrinsic worth of all human beings are required. Most here on this forum would simply say that such frameworks can be developed without an underlying religious basis...

Re: Scientific Proof Of God
Another one of these lovely claims of power which dont exist. FOOL you are a real FOOL if you think any idiot like jesus existed. Like your god you have absolutely no scientific evidence that either exits.superuniverse wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:58 amBelieve me, Jesus shows Mercy to even scumbag liars like carrier.
