It being anecdotal and a personal opinion, I'll take your word on it. Would God want anyone to have such an unhealthy relationship with it? I think Paul complained about this too when he wondered if his converts would ever learn to eat meat rather than baby food. Grow up believers! Did God give you this life to waste consumed by a single thought!?

If my life is spent proving Nostradamus right then it is obviously something outside my control, and something the Divine wants.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 2:27 pmWould God want anyone to have such an unhealthy relationship with it? Re: Scientific Proof Of God
I'm not in a position to know what is beyond your control, or what the divine wants. If this is what God wants for you then who am I to disagree?
But I do enjoy disagreeing.
It's one of the best aspects of Judaism in my opinion. The old school guys argued incessantly, with each other and with God. So, what's the harm in asking if this is all that was planned for you --except for attracting God's attention anyway, that might not be too wise eh?

As for smashing skulls, well, you're assuming God doesn't like me. Suppose God's quite fond of me, what then? Perhaps you slip and break your arse, or worse get eaten by a bear at the airport.

Iz real funny
Somebody
a) trying to prove Nostradamus right... I mean, it's arrant nonsense, and at any rate stopped being of any import once Catherine of Madici, who was his patron, no longer needed an astrologer to predict her and her children's futures.
b) claiming he has no control about wasting his time in that boondoggle... I mean, just try doing something else, like watching netflix or going out for dinner.
c) claiming his actions please whatever divine powers he believes in... if he even could demonstrate that, it might go a long way to proving his deity exists... I mean, if it has been able to convey its will by means that cannot be assumed to be the vagaries of a diseased mind, it has to count for something.
