Nah. It's be the brother of one of the pre-teen altar boys who were raped by priests taking vengeance.

Atheism is completely USELESS except perhaps to burn down some churches. The only good thing to come from atheists is to serve as a WARNING and LESSON to others.

Hey Dennis! How have you been?
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.

The implication of your post is that burning down a few churches is a useful thing to do... :tea:

Or that building churches is completely useless except perhaps to give atheists something useful to do.

Actually, I quite like the architecture of old churches, so I don't want them to be burned down. Given the continued decline in church attendance, they should be re-purposed as community centres catering for weekend gay dance parties... :tea:

Writing serious posts in this thread is a mistake. ;)

I lived a few hundred metres north of this church for ten years.

Image

It was built in 1876. The Presbyters had sold it some time in the 1970s. Due to dropping attendance rates they decided to limit their activities to another church they had nearby. The new owner converted into a bedsit. By the time I moved into the area it had been sold again, and turned into a restaurant.

Image

Apparently, it has been briefly put on the market again. Asking price was $6 million, but withdrawn. Eventually, it was sold just the same. Since 2015 the complex has operated as the Glebe Montessori Academy Child Care Centre. <--- Loberly pics of money printing facility in here

Down to 5% in the urban areas. The bible belt is holding to 30% but it is the last bastion.

Their political party is the SGP ( the reformed church party) in which women are not equal.
