Need more atheism

Post by Tero » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:13 pm

There is not nearly enough atheism at this site. Bring me some new stuff. Or make some up and give it a fake source.

Post it here or start a thread.

This was cool. 8 people from the Noah ark made enough people in 100 years to build pyramids.

Same old, same old.

Sam: Can I give a few things that shows that it's about 6000 years old?
The Atheist Experience: OK. I have here the index to creationist claims. Let me see if you got one that isn't on here.

There wasn't.

The pyramid army in 100 years was new to me.

There's a whole string of things that happened "right after" the flood on one site. Places around the world populated with thousands or more people.

The creotards just ignore it. Their shit is one way.

Welllllll, Bishop Ussher's minions didn't have adding machines. :P

Actually, I don't like The Atheist Experience show. Two hosts ganging up on a caller, employing Bill O'Reilly's tactic of talking over the top of him/her.

Nothing new in the clip below, but it's Dawkins at his best.

I watch TAE every week, it's on today in fact. Matt's very good at not allowing callers to get away with leaps in logic. "Whoa! How do you explain that?"

I used it to sharpen my own knowledge, They've heard just about every argument in the books.

BTW, do you listen to the Thinking Atheist? He's more your type, I think. http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/

Thanks, will look at it later. Mostly the comedy channel stuff is enough for me. Atheism is not that complicated. You can fit it o na bumper sticker.

It's the debunking I'm after. And getting to know other people's perspectives. The Thinking Atheist is good for that. He's done shows on teenage atheists, atheists in the military, coming out, religion in the work place, etc.

It is almost certain that gods don't exist.

'Nuff said.

Yes but Rum, if we don't cultivate atheism, the people will think we are some wimpy agnostics.

I'm an atheistic anti-theist. The atheism is just a talking point. The anti-theism is my focus.
