I'm a Methodist, Subgenius, Taoist, Buddhist, Ignostic, Discordian, Javacrucian with sprinkles of Wikka atheist.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

I'm an atheist who was raised Catholic and who wishes enough of the old Celtic or Norse religions had been preserved that he might worship the deities of his ancestors.

I'm an atheist. End of. My mum was episcopalian and my dad was presbyterian. As soon as I was old enough to wonder what I was (13), I was an atheist.
Pray, do not mock me: I am a very foolish fond old man; And, to deal plainly, I fear I am not in my perfect mind.

Blah blah blah blah blah!

Memo to self: no Lir chocolates.

Life is glorious.

. :dunno: I keep no favourites, I disbelieve equally in all gods, and have done so for as long as I can remember.

I live in a society, where most people go to an Evangelic Lutheran church for weddings and funerals, and maybe Christmas. Like Svarty, I have some warm feelings for the old Norse gods.

A brother in Christ. Good to see someone else who denies the one true religion. Denying false, Proddy religions is a piece of piss. That's why Proddy countries have more atheists. Easy enough to deny bullshit.

Even the Catholic "faith" is about goyim worshipping a Jewish zombie...

not hard to deny that once you stop to think about it.
