People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Christ (!) what a plonker - O'Reilly that is. I really wonder why Dawkins bothers with the likes of O'Reilly and Fox. He could have easily speared O'Reilly by pointing out that most of the worst mass-murderers in history have been religious, and often did it in the name of religion.

Mr Dawkins. I know RD doesn't put too much store in the use of formal titles, but still ...

I always thought Richard Dawkins was such a prick but this shows him has rational and he demonstrates good arguments against someone who just says "You're wrong and shit" then uses very biased examples to suggest atheism is flawed and lawless.

No. Science can't explain everything.
But at least it doesn't pretend to.
Unlike religion.

William James “Bill” O’Reilly, Jr. (born September 10, 1949) is an American television commentator, author, novelist, and dick.
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

I love that guy. O'Reilly is a barrel of laughs. He always puts a smile on my face.

I really don't understand why he goes on shows like these. Why bother? A person could give the most solid, clear argument and the fox news idiots will still think they've "won" by talking loudly and interrupting. . . much like a child would. :ddpan:

Controversy puts bums on seats. They're both stoking the fires of controversy for the publicity. One to sell a book and the other to keep a presence on air. Maybe I'm cynical but the level of debate was prettty low, aimed at an American audience. Who was dumber? O'Reilly for asking such stupid questions or Dawkins for trying to answer them? :smoke:

Except Dawkins is hardly controversial - especially in the book he is currently flogging. O'Reilly on the other hand is an ignoramus dickhead
