Idk... but I was just reminded of that Dawkins interview with Haggard where he said he'd rape, murder and steal if God wasn't watching. For Haggard, the only thing holding back the tsunami of corruption is faith in God. Fucking nutter.

Not needing to apologize or ask forgiveness for being human.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

That's what doomed Adam and Eve, and it was an in depth study of the New Testament that demonstrated to me that not only did I not have vocation for the priesthood, but chretinity was absurdity piled upon mistake (or the reverse, or it wasn't mistake but bad faith, and it's all absurd anyway)
