This drives me ballistic. In Oregon, a church has been vandalized with Flying Spaghetti Monster slogans in spray paint:

This is bullshit. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is a brilliant twist on an old example to show how ridiculous and baseless it is to believe in God. You don't need to spray paint it on a church wall! Bobby Henderson, creator of the FSM, has already issued a statement, condemning the vandalism, and says he will try to find out who did it. Vandalism of this sort is picking up in the U.S., and I certainly hope it doesn't spread. Atheist billboards have been defaced across the U.S., and a few religious ones as well. Nobody ever takes responsibility.

Not here. Hemant Mehta, author of of the "The Friendly Atheist" blog, is taking a collection to repair the church, including brick repairs required due to the spray paint. We were over $1250 ~90 minutes ago and are currently at $1594. Definitely a worthwhile cause.

Hmmm... Are you addressing this to me for posting? Or the twat vandal for the graffiti? Or the atheist who organized the drive to fix it? Or the atheists who gave $2,600+ to fix it? Or the people who didn't help fix it at all? Or someone else?

Good point, well made, but as graffitos tag things for the shear fuck all of it, and we haven't spoken with the perps, I'm inclined to reserve judgement until the facts are made clear.

We could loop that with footage of the preacher standing outside a church that had been flatten by a twister, said preacher spouting the inevitable "Thank God more people weren't killed."
