New Christopher Hitchens interview

Post by Faithfree » Wed Nov 17, 2010 3:30 pm

Interview by (Australian) Lateline's Tony Jones. Just watched this on the TV a few minutes ago. I will post part 2 when it's put up tomorrow.

Indeed a good interview. Just watched it again. Hitch hasn't changed a bit on his world view.

This is unlikely. :(

Thanks for posting this, Faithfree.

In part one, Christopher's response to the questions about whether he'll achieve immortality through his writing .. expressed with apparent (and moving) regret ... that he won't be alive to experience what effect his writing will have on future generations .. says it all.

Christopher is more attractive than ever. So grateful for his generous frankness. He may not be immortalised, but his challenging contribution to our thinking will remain. I thank him and will remember him for that.
