"Unfortunately that's not in the bible."

"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

wow! I can't believe why some of those people reacted! I just love the ideas that some parts of the Bible will offer a past time and some of all the present. I wonder if that actually only represents all the individual would like it to be -- there was what he himself thinks is right -- sorry then looks at the biblical text to find justification for his own views.

I would like to see or all that -- I haven't laughed so much in years!

Those were just the ones who claimed knowledge of the babble. It points out two things. Americans are ignorant of the shit in that book, and Americans only claim to be christians. If the same level of knowledge of their religion was extant in Saudi Arabia they'd be having ham for Christmas.

the great enduring thing about christianity that has kept it alive all these years is that you don't have to take it too seriously

oh yeah...more years than i care to admit

but the Babble Belt is a prime example of my point - people go to church on Sunday morning and then reaffirm their racial prejudices over iced tea and Sunday brunch while still dressed in their Sunday best

"Mathew 19:19 Amen Brother! But if we'd 'a known how it was gonna be, we'd 'a picked our own damn cotton"

167 hours a week Americans aren't religious.
