Republican candidate 'dabbled in witchcraft'

A conservative politician in the United States has caused a stir after it emerged she dabbled in witchcraft as a teenager.

Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is backed by the controversial Tea Party movement and is known for her Christian views.

She once headed a national TV campaign against masturbation and has claimed that homosexuals are suffering from an identity disorder.

A recording has now emerged from an 11-year-old television chat show, Politically Incorrect, during which Ms O'Donnell admits to dabbling in the occult.

"I dabbled in witchcraft but I never joined a coven," she said in 1999.

"I hung around people who were doing these things.

"One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn't know it, and there was a little blood there and stuff like that."

Ms O'Donnell has played down the revelations.

"I was in high school," she said. "Who didn't have interesting friends in high school?"

Ms O'Donnell's has since gone to ground, but it seems there is potential for more public humiliation.

The host of Politically Incorrect, Bill Maher, released the tape on his new program, Real Time, and he says there is more to come.

"Christine, if you're listening - I created you! You need to come on this show. If you don't come on this show, I'm going to show a clip every week. I'm the only one who has them," Maher told his audience.

"I'm just saying, Christine, it's like a hostage crisis. Every week you don't show up, I'm going to throw another body out."

Yeah, but the christian variety of woo has some lines in their holy book about the witchcraft variety of woo being very, very bad. So bad in fact that witches shouldn't be allowed to live. :nono:

To a fundie republican tea-bagger, glancing at the Harry Potter section in Barnes & Noble as you pass by constitutes "dabbling in witchcraft".

Actually, the requirements for candidacy for office in the Republican party include that you have sold your soul to Satan.

Witchcraft? Meh. It's so wacky that no-one will really get too het up about it. Now, if he'd dabbled in Islam ... or Catholicism ... or had atheistic leanings. :mob:

Anyway, O'l Blue Eyes would have approved:

She did dabble in witchcraft when she was in high school, but she's sorry she did now, so I forgive her, and so should you. It makes you feel great. Just like frosties.

Actually, it would make me feel like a hypocrite. She did nothing that needs forgiveness. The folks who play Dungeons and Dragons don't need forgiveness, despite the "demonic" overtones of the game. "Witchcraft" is a joke, and as long as nobody gets damaged, there's no harm in it. (No gain either, in most cases, but that's a separate thread.)

Read between the lines. On that "first date" she went to the movies with the guy, and then the little slut took it six ways from Sunday on an "altar" - probably in a nearby graveyard.

She is one of these reformed sluts - born again virgins. She was sucking dick by the yard in high school, and continued in college. She admits that while at Farleigh Dickinson University she used to sleep with guys, plural, that she did not have emotional intimacy with. It wasn't until she was in her third year, or so, that she started feeling bad about it. So, she jumped into the Christian thing, seeking forgiveness for all the sodomy she'd been committing.

So, once converted, she preached to other girls that the fun she had wasn't the fun they should be doing.

She has weird ideas about sexuality. She thinks that if a guy masturbates that the woman is no longer necessary in the relationship - "why am I here?" she asks.... Well, why are you hear, Ms. O'Donnell? A woman in a relationship is there for many reasons, not just to fuck and suck, and human sexuality is more complicated than her hoped for exclusive domain as the only object of her man's sexual desire. 90% of everyone masturbates, and she thinks it's an abnormality? Weird.

There is some real sexual dysfunction going on in that brain of hers. If I had to guess, she is a sex addict or a nymphomaniac.

She is now being investigated for misuse of campaign funds

She is, of course, denying the allegations.
