People who believe in God but aren't part of a religion.
I've noticed a rise in this within my circle of friends and in the school I attend recently and so I ask, have any of you noticed this trend recently and what are your thoughts on them? Personally I see them as a step in the right direction and I can at least respect them for finding their own belief rather than the supposed voices of God that preach the organised bollocks.

Where's their evidence?

God but not religion...
It's the "there must be something more" crowd. I wonder how many deists (as opposed to theists) believe in an afterlife? My own hunch is that it'll be most of them, and if so, my hypothesis would be that they're just after the cake but don't want to have to go the effort of baking it.

Organized or disorganized, it's still all bollocks.LordChhaya wrote:I've noticed a rise in this within my circle of friends and in the school I attend recently and so I ask, have any of you noticed this trend recently and what are your thoughts on them? But I do agree with you to an extent - it is a step in the right direction. Small steps are good too.

They just want to have their cake and butter it on both sides.
They don't want to be "uncool" by saying they're religious but they don't want to be contrarian by saying they don't believe it.

I've had buttered Bara Brith (a kind of fruit cake made with tea) loads of times and it is delicious.maiforpeace wrote:Never had a buttered cake before.Animavore wrote:They just want to have their cake and butter it on both sides.
