We're all the retarded off-spring of five monkeys having butt sex with a fish-squirrel. :ddpan:

I know someone who genuinely believes white people aren't related to black people. I'm waiting for an opportunity to press him on the point, whether he thinks we come from entirely separate germ-lines and abiogenesis events. The convergent evolution needed is immense. :hehe:

I just noticed a sticker in the back of one of my books. A swastika, "Deport Race-Mixers", and below that "NDSAP" with an Iowa address. :Erasb:

(I guess it's not surprising considering it's a collection of Hitler's speeches. :ddpan: )

You may want to get that looked at.

darwinism is based on a shitload of facts that only make sense within the framework of evolutionary theory (it's a grand organizing principle of biology). otherwise all you have is a host of disparate information, a mass of unorganized facts that would make no sense. vestigial features, fossils, DNA, homologies, etc., even plate tectonics-- all make sense within the paradigm of evolution. i know of no other explanation for life with the explanatory power of evolutionary theory. darwin noted in the origin of species that a great many facts make no sense in the light of the creation theory. here we are a hundred fifty plus years later and people are still trying to push the creation theory. i notice that a lot of religious people confuse evolutionary theory -the explanation for the observable changes through time among living organisms - with abiogenesis, or the theory of how life began. but evolutionary theory isn't concerned with how life originated, but how it has changed, or evolved, subsequent to its origination. peace out.
