I'd just like to make it clear for those who don't seem to grasp it, but our rules don't disallow trolling. They disallow trolling that causes direct harassment of other members and trolling that causes widespread general offence. I'd quite like to hear how either of those two are supposed to have occurred. Only a small number of members seem to have a problem. Almost everyone is treating the whole escapade like fun game. Seriously, even those who seem to think banning is in order also seem to be terribly entertained.

If you think we should have a specific trolling rule please feel free to start a sensibly worded thread about it in Tech (as all members are always free to do).

Personally, I don't agree with the term troll because I think everyone is responsible for his or her own response to a member, regardless of how that member behaves.

Like Pappa I don't know, but I strongly suspect mandy is a rather consistent poe and I think he's taken far too seriously. If his posts are read as satire the absurdity is obvious and funny as fuck. If read seriously the absurdity is obvious and funny as fuck.
