The rule against eating pork came about because people used to die from trichinosis, a parasite that infected the pigs. Lack of refrigeration as well as poor cooking made it possible for the parasite to infect and kill humans. At a time when the rules that helped people survive were incorporated into the religions, it was a good rule. To make the idea simple to convey, pork was simply banned as unclean.

Modern meat handling has done away with the threat, so pork is now safe to eat. Which brings us to the objection to returning to living under a bunch of rules that were created for a completely different time. It makes no sense to burden ourselves with rules for living and other beliefs that contradict what we now know about the world. It's a childish and simplistic worldview that will not work in our technically advanced society.

I'm not so sure that's correct. The pagan cultures surrounding the Hebrews ate pork all the time. The Romans ate pork a lot. So, if it was a health problem, one would think that it would have applied equally to most ancient cultures. The pork ban was a minority position, though.

You state that alla is perfect or whatever, and that all his systems and all his laws are perfect… Taking this into consideration, (I know this was asked of you before) when a woman is stoned after she was raped because the shah or whoever finds her guilty of adultery…. Which system was the shah or whoever using to come to that punishment . Was it not allah’s system? So you are saying that alla is such an asshole that he commands innocent people to be raped and then stoned???? Beause of cause going through rape wasn’t enough of a punishment for a woman basically for being a woman. So therefore his systems are not perfect. Which implies that he is not all powerful because if he was he could have created a system where only the unrighteous would be punished. Otherwise he would be unmerciful….I hope he is not such an inept that he would allow unrighteous persons using his systems to punish the innocent. I also hope this is not the man you try to emulate and pray to 5 times for the day cause of course hoss, d man narcissistic so!!!!!
