Apparently its a mere formality before she becomes St.Mary Mckillop.
The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."Trolldor wrote:Ahh cardinal Pell. He's like a monkey after a lobotomy and three lines of cocaine.
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Well, according to the front page of todays' Sunday Mail in Brisbane, the Pope is recognising the 2nd "miracle" and there's going to be an Aussie saint.

What's next ? George Pell as Pope ?

He wants it so bad that it burns. He lays awake at night, plotting, imagining, fantasising the day when the white smoke goes up for him...
No doubt it would be Pius the umpteenth...

It's official! Benny has given the nod and Oz gets it's first Catholic saint. Not that this means anything to me.

Funny how they don't have to prove the authenticity of the miracle, just say it happened.Faithfree wrote:It's official! Benny has given the nod and Oz gets it's first Catholic saint. Not that this means anything to me.![]()

I think they just ask god if it really was a miracle; no response is taken as a resounding YES!Pappa wrote:Funny how they don't have to prove the authenticity of the miracle, just say it happened.Faithfree wrote:It's official! Why are these Aussies bracing? Are saints as much rampant sex-pests as priests, or something?
A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.
