Er, Islam is not a "race," it's a "religion." Therefore, calling them "rag-heads" cannot be "racist." It's no different than the slurs hurled at Catholics and other people of religion by atheists here on a pretty regular basis.

Moreover, referring to Arabs in general as "grasshopper-eating, camel-fucking rag-heads" would not be "racist" either because "Arab" is not a race either, it's a geographic cultural label.

Now, it might be bigoted and prejudiced to refer to all Arabs as "grasshopper-eating, camel-fucking rag-heads," because certainly not ALL Arabs fit into that category, although the sub-set of "radical Muslim terrorists" are most certainly within the category "grasshopper-eating, camel-fucking rag-heads." That label is not indicative of racism, prejudice or bigotry because radical Arab Muslim terrorists ARE grasshopper-eating, camel-fucking rag-heads.

Moreover, Islam, as handed down by Mohammed, is an inherently violent and imperialistic religion/social model. Muslims who purport to eschew the violent and imperialistic aspects of Islam are actually apostates whom Mohammed would happily kill. He was extremely clear about his intentions for the infidels and the rest of the world, and it only included "peaceable" relations if the infidels submitted totally to the Islamic Caliphate under Dhimmitude.

So, anybody who claims that Islam is a "peaceful" religion that just "wants to get along" with everyone else is a bald-faced liar. And it's important to note that Mohammed addressed this issue and tells the faithful that it's perfectly okay to lie to infidels at every turn.

I take it you're referring to a 1300-year-old scripture? To read such an old book through 21st century eyes seems to me to be intrinsically risky - there is no guarantee that any of the conclusions you have drawn are remotely as intended.

Personally I assess "Islam" according to the practices of muslims now. From what I gather, most of them round here don't even go to the mosque very much. The ones that do are hardly the sort of people who are going to go around happily killing anyone, including those defined as 'apostates'. I cannot help thinking you've chosen your sources poorly for assessing whether islam is a peaceful religion.

Exi5 my friends, living in Glasgow as of a few weeks ago, used to live in Egypt , he Is from a Coptic background, three times strychnine has been thrown over into their garden to kill the dogs this used to happen under the last government but last time their wall was painted to say the children would be next . This is happening in parts of Spain too ! now given an example of what Muslims are happy to do and independent of general fear of terrorism would you like to check some recent news stories from Egypt about Coptic Christians in Egypt ? . I'm not a racist (well ok the Welsh suck) and I was asked to go help the Bosnians in Sarajevo . BUT A hatred of Islam is not a phobia given the stated aim of the religion is to convert everyone to Allah . As always the nice moderate Muslims ,just like the nice moderate christians are not the problem but a hatred of Islam is not a phobia because it is not irrational .

I hate that you indiscriminately lump all Merkins together at the same level of hatred. Certainly the dumb-assed Texans deserve a different level and flavour of hatred than the spacey-assed Californians or bland-ass Midwesterners!
