If Zionism means that things have gotten to the point where the Jews need there own country and Israel looks like the best place, then I'm not anti-Zionist. If it means that Israel belong to the Jews because JHVH-1 said so and fuck anyone who happens to be in the way, then I am Anti-Zionist.

I'm pretty much OK with the Jews not all being exterminated. I don't much like Israeli right wingnuts, but then again I don't much like Muslim right wingnuts, nor for that matter any right wingnuts. If "Zionism" is Israeli right wingnuts, well, I don't think I need to say any more. If not, well, I'd have to know what it is to say.

But above all, I hate cranks; and bigots are cranks. Biology cranks, as well as sociology cranks. So if Zionism is used as an excuse for bigotry, which it is if someone's claiming a super magic sky daddy told them to, then I'm against that. But again, I don't think that's clear.

I think it is clearly possible to be anti-zionist without being anti-semitic, if being anti-Zionist is making a critique of Israeli government policy, especially in terms of their treatment of local arabs, etc.

Having said that, there are certainly those whose anti-Zionism includes a big dose of anti-semitism as well, for a variety of reason...
